2016 Disney Day 3 – Hollywood Studios

Today, Grandma and Grandpa Heider paid us a visit, surprising the girls at breakfast.  They were very excited!

We spent the day at Hollywood Studios.  At park opening, we avoided the Toy Story attraction line and instead were one of two families in the Jim Henson’s Muppet 3D movie.  We thought the high of 57 F with high winds would keep the crowds down, but by after lunch it was pretty busy.  We got lots of autographs – mostly Disney Junior characters.

We also did the Frozen sing-a-long, saw a Disney Jr. play, and watched a short play of The Beauty and The Beast. The Frozen sing-a-long was more interesting than you might think.  The narrators of the event were hilarious and threw in some adult, G-rated, humor that kept it fun for everyone.

Toy Story and Tower of Terror had a 60 minute wait pretty much the whole day and we didn’t have Fast Passes for either one, so that will have to wait for next time.

Lunch – Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios – Jake, Sofia the First, and Doc McStuffins
